RODRIGO MONTOYA (BR) + GUNDA GOTTSCHALK (DE)
Rodrigo Montoya is a musician dedicated to free improvisation since 2003, his main musical instrument is the Shamisen. He has collaborated with musicians from Brazil, Chile, Europe and Japan. His main works consist of recordings with the collective Abaetetuba (Brazil), Duo EN (Brazil-England), E-noises (Brazil), Duo Yaca (Chile).
Gunda Gottschalk is represented on festivals for contemporary and improvised music all over europe and had guest performances on Avantgarde festivals in USA, Canada, Mongolia, Russia etc. Gunda Gottschalk plays improvised and contemporary music and associates her audible work with dance, theatre/ drama, film / movie, composition, fine art and literature. In Wuppertal she enlivened the scene by Partita Radicale, the WIO- orchestra, the series soundtrips NRW and her activity by managing the Peter Kowald society.
