FILIPE GIRAKNOB

Filipe Giraknob is an improviser, composer and producer. He has been active in the improvisation, experimental music and alternative rock scene in Rio and São Paulo since 2002. He produced festivals of experimental music (Seres Operando Matéria, Outro Rio, Quintavant) and founded the concert venue Aparelho (RJ)
GABRIELA NOBRE
(MÚSICA INSÓLITA, B-ALÚRIA/BR)
Gabriela Nobre is a sound artist and poet from RJ. She is a doctoral student in Studies of the Arts, at UFF. Her performance in experimental scene mainly occurs with b-Aluria, project that investigates the relationship between sound and word. She is a member of the independent label Música Insólita.
J. P. CARON (SEMINAL
RECORDS/BR)
J.-P. Caron is a philosopher and artist based in Rio de Janeiro. He is a professor of philosophy at the UFRJ. He has been practicing noise and experimental music for more than 20 years, and manages with friends his own label, Seminal Records, under which more than 80 albuns were released.
FREDERICO FINELLI (SELO SUBMARINE RECORDS, BOOKING NORÓPOLIS/BR)
Settled in São Paulo, Frederico Finelli, 44 years old, is the captain of Submarine Records, label founded in Minas Gerais that released records of artists such as Hurtmold, Rob Mazurek, Guilherme Granado and that owns more than 40 titles on their catalogue. He is also responsable for the performance in Brazil of artists like Tortoise, Matana Roberts, Roscoe Mitchell, Anthony Braxton among others through the booking Norópolis.
