CMC – Ciclo de Música Contemporânea e Festival was born in 2016 with the idea of mapping, creating a bridge and given visibility to artistis from Bahia that share compositional means and procedures connected to creative music (new jazz, sound art, free improvisation), at the same time as they point to other possibilities and paths connected to their belonging territory. In five years, held several events connected to contemporary music in Salvador promoting na intense Exchange between local, nacional and international artists by educational actions (workshops, panels, debates) and concerts.

Sonora: musicas e feminismos is a collaborative network formed by artists and people connected to research. Started in 2015, Sonora is involved in musical and sound activities of several strands. With a very plural action, Sonora is engaged in building and occuping spaces, collaborative projects of creation and performance, in research activities and diffusion, and in feminist expressions in the contexto of arts.Sonora is crossed by incertitudes, indefinitions, ellipsis, openings affectivities, sensitivities, noises.
