Have you ever wanted to make a performance with a motley mix of co-conspirators, combining whatever skills and materials and ideas you’ve got into a brand new piece? Let’s make it happen! With the trio “The Liz” as your guide, we will work on group collaboration, tying together a mixed bag of creative elements and found materials. With improvised music at the center, elements may include sound, text, performance, visuals and staging, etc. We will work on techniques for improvisation and structuring a piece, developing the elements and form over a few days, resulting in a cohesive performance which participants will present together on the stage of the CHIII – Festival de Música Criativa on July 14th at 8:30pm at the Goethe-Institut.

Suggested age: 15+

Prerequisites include: an interest in improvisation! and an openness for developing and performing a collective piece. People with interests or skills in music, visual art, dance, theater, writing, performance art, etc. are welcome.
