Lucas Pires is a visual programmer/art director who has been working in the field of sound art since 2000. He's a member of the multimedia group DEDO and the brazilian label QTV . He has developed a deep relationship with cassette tapes and the creation of sounds procedures provided by them. As a member of DEDO, he has occupied movie theaters, concert halls, galleries, museums and Fashion shows. He produced films, records, soundtracks and performances.
Sound artist, social scientist and doctoral student in Sociology (UFPE). Researches artistic sensitivities and the craft of women artists, from the perspective of the sounds that operate (and the way they do it) stereotypes of a racist and sexist feminine imaginary. She is part of the duo Mã, and the space for sound experimentation for women, N.óia. Was part of the project (Entre) Lugares Sonoros.
