“FRAGMENTAR/DESFAZER”

Desmonta and Desmanche present the sound artists ehoro and MNTH. Sinister union that lands on Festival CHIII 2022.

“I daydreamed that I boarded a wagon that completely disassembled while moving. I heard, between the noise of the movement, the sound of each piece falling slowly and heavily on the asphalt. The car own movement kept it hole and remaking itself”.

EHORO

Ramon Alves is a musician, producer and co-founder of the Porto Velho based record label Desmanche o Selo. Works at the bands Tuer Lapin (2013-), Lujes (2021-) and with the alias ehoro (2016-), amongst other colaborational projects. Co-produces and curates at the Frestas Telúricas (2020-) collective.

“Fragmentar/Desfazer” is a collaborative piece accomplished by the producers/composers Luciano Valério (SP) and Ramon Alves (RO), also lnown by the rwapective aliases MNTH and ehoro. The work, made specially to Festival CHIII 2022, is an unprecedented remote collaboration by the two asound artists that also had the featuring of the performer Andréa Melo and the visual artist Anna Bogaciovas and additional images by Frank Dallagnese.

The etymological motto of the collaboration (dismantle/disassemble) was the starting point for the aesthetic discussions of the work, first a sound collaboration, and from this, an eight-hand sound-visual collaboration, starting from the fragmentation/unmaking to other places.
